New Product Alon Labs Rewind

No affiliate or referral links.

Good morning! I’m so excited, new month means new skincare product to try. This month I’m trying Alon Labs Rewind. They were very kind to give me a special discount to try their new product, all opinions are honest, truthful and my own, regardless of a discount.

On to the goods! Rewind helps skin rejuvenate, repair pigmentation and anti-redness. I have cheeks as red as Santa’s and I’m not too jolly about it. This is what led me to Alon. I saw a Twitter post from them and reached out to inquire about their products to treat redness. Now that winter is here my red cheeks will only get worse and the stress of the holidays won’t help either. Like I said earlier they gave me a discount to purchase it on  Amazon. I will post my full review there after I complete my 30 days. I’m so excited to try it and I wanted all of you to see what I was up to in my skincare routine.

  Back of box
Notice how the box says unscented? It truly is! That is a huge win for me and my face! We don’t ever do well with scents and they give me a headache. With that being said I’m even more thrilled to get started. You’ll see in the next couple of photos, the product is shipped in two different bottles. One is the powder and the other is the liquid. You want to pour the liquid into the powder and shake well for 30 seconds.

They also enclosed a nice information card with very easy to follow directions.

It has a water like texture and still no smell. I’m so impressed.

The first picture is of four drops and the last is of it lightly spread onto my hand. I truly is like water. Very nice and easy to apply. It takes a minute to absorb but then it’s fine and I apply my sunblock. No tingle sensation or anything. Very nice.   The dropper goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle so I won’t have any wasted product. The bottle is dark to prevent light from cancelling out the ingredients and to keep them active and working. I look forward to posting my results along the way.

The only two links I posted, not affiliate or referral, are to the Alon Labs website and to Amazon so you can try it along with me.

Well I’m off to start my day and if you do try Alon Labs Rewind, please let me know your thoughts too. So far I’m impressed.

Our Thanksgiving Meal

I sure hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration full of good food and family time. We sure did. Normally we smoke our turkey but this year we decide to go with frying. It was so much faster and no worries about it drying out. It cooked for 1 1/2 hours for a 14 pound turkey. While it fried I was able to use my oven for the side dishes, not to mention, the house was so hot because we weren’t heating up the kitchen with every oven going all day long. We had more time spent together without someone always going to tend to the turkey. We plopped it in mad went on our way.

For those of you wondering how much oil was soaked up by the turkey. Well, much less than you’d think. When we drained the oil from the fryer we ended up with a cup less oil then when we started. That’s it! Clean up was so easy. Most parts went in the dishwasher except the heating element, and came out looking like new. It was so fast and tasty we are going to do this for Christmas too.

Of course the only picture I took was on Instagram here’s a link and you can follow me there too Mumzie on Instagram.  My great aunt who’s had two throat surgeries was able to eat and enjoy turkey for the first time in years. Normally it’s way to dry for her to try to swallow.

I do hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I’d love to hear your stories too.

Unboxing #beauteque #beautequebbbag November 2015

This post contains a referral link. It gives me extra entires and it helps grow my little blog.

My November Beauteque Korean Beauty Bag has arrived. It’s my favorite bag. It’s always filled and overflowing with an assortment of new and interesting beauty products I have no clue about. It’s so much fun to read the enclosed card and investigate what product goes where and does what. It’s like a game to me and Beauteque is the best of the best. I am in no way getting paid to say this, in fact, I’ve been purchasing these bags with my own money since they started their month bag. I’m sharing because I love to talk beauty and spread the word about products and services I love. Beauteque has amazing customer service and always keeps you up to date via social media and email. They are awesome communicators. This is so important to me. Anyways, back to the goods. Each month in the bag you receive a detailed card explaining each product.

Above Photo credits go to Beauteque.

First Look!

Then I remembered I left out two very important products. The bath poof and Radiant Lace Hydrogel Eye Patches. I’m so excited to try the eye patches. I’ve been working on my crows feet.

As you can see, this month is an adorable blue and while poka dot bag filled with full size body wash, face peeling gel, cream blush, whitening hand cream and a bath fizzy. Eek! So excited. The little brush on the bottom is for cleaning the crevices around your nose. I also have to add they seem to be throwing in brushes often and I really like the quality of them. So that’s Beauteque. On a side note they are running a giveaway for an Apple iPad and $500 worth of kbeauty products!!! Wow! Here’s the link to the Beauteque Contest. Good luck!
