#Beauteque #Kbeauty #Giveaway

This post contains a referral links. I get extra entries or a few cents for sharing. This helps grow my little blog into a big blog and then I can bring you better giveaways and products.

Good evening…I have a great giveaway to share with you. I love all things kbeauty and my favorite store is hosting a giveaway to win an Apple IPad and $500 worth of Kbeauty products. I have no affiliation with Beauteque. I’m sharing because I have made many purchases from them over the last year and they are very reliable. Beauteque has many high quality Korean beauty products and ship very fast. I get their Beauty Bags each month full of Kbeauty products. They really pack it full and give you your money worth of products. Anyway, here’s the giveaway and a little peak at what all you could win.  Click on any Beauteque link to enter. Again, I’m not affiliated with them in any way, however, through personal use I highly recommend them.

Wine & Mask Wednesday

No referral or affiliate links.

Skincare has been a big part of my life. Skin cancer runs in my family so I make sure to lather on the sunblock. Sun protection is part of my daily face routine. However, tonight I’m sharing with you part of my night routine. Every night after I wash my face and prep with toner I wear a mask for 15-20 depending on the mask. There are many types of masks and for as many different reasons. I have a couple of breakouts so I’ve chosen the Sephora Green Tea mask. It’s a fiber cloth mask loaded with serum to help absorb excess sebum and reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. I’m impressed with this mask, no scent and doesn’t dry out fast. Sometimes fragrances can irritate your skin and with blemishes I don’t need that. The redness hasn’t disappeared but it has gone down in color and size and aren’t nearly as painful as before. I will be purchasing more of these.

Now for the wine.  Two of my friends who both live in separate parts of the country started wine night. Once a week one of us picks a wine based on the decoration and/or look of the bottle. I chose this one based on the name “Dead Bolt.”  Nights are getting longer and darkness sets in sooner, it seemed fitting. It’s a smooth cherry blend, I’d pare it with a steak and baked potato. Tonight though it’s going with my face mask and American Horror Story.

Cheers!

Changing Up Your #Thanksgving #Turkey

 Good morning!

This post contains a referral link to Influenster. I get credit if you sign up. It helps my little blog grow.

Let’s talk turkey. I was looking around Influenster for cooking and baking ideas. (If you aren’t a member it’s free to join, all you need to do is click on the link above.) Anyways, they have seven different takes on turkey. I’ve posted pictures of the first three here, to me they’re the most unique.

  1. Bacon Wrapped Turkey
  2. Turkey Roasted in Mayonnaise
  3. Beer Can Smoked Turkey

For more information, the how to’s and the other four, go to the Influenster website. These all look so good and I’m going to have a hard time deciding which one to make this Thanksgiving. How do you prepare your turkey? I’m always looking for ideas, it’s the foodie in me.

    #StarWars #Mascara

I was doing some grocery shopping today and found the new Covergirl Star Wars mascara. I was excited to try it out. It’s been out for awhile now but mainly online, I wasn’t about to pay shipping for a mascara I may or may not like. Here’s my take on it.

I went with the Dark Side because I don’t care for waterproof.  I’m a huge Star Wars fan and knew I had to have at least one. Lipsticks were all sold out and since I really only try to buy things I use, silver and bronze lipsticks, I’m out and won’t waste my money.

There are ten different quotes for non waterproof (Dark Side) and waterproof (Light). Mine says “There has been an awakening”. This is the one I really wanted. Now to what the brush looks like and my own thoughts.

I was very skeptical at first glance. The brush doesn’t look very good or well made. I was so wrong. The brush picks up the right amount of mascara and lifts and separates each lash. I was amazed how well this little brush works. I didn’t see any curl but that isn’t a big deal for me, I can use a lash curler. The black is a fabulous dark glossy black. Bonus, this brush is perfect for use on lower lashes. I didn’t need any eyeliner because you can really see my eyes.  No flaking or smudging and dries fast. I’ve worn it all day and my lashes still look great. I’m impressed. Hope you liked my little review. Have a wonderful day.
